Results & Analysis

Out of 6 people we interviewed 4 were married, 1 intends to get married and the other one does not want to get married . The one that does not want to get married is called Ms Ching and she's a career woman that wants to focus more on her career so she does not want to start a family .
The one that intends to get married is called Ms Ain , She intends to get married in 2 years time and she wants to have 2 children . Because she is afraid that her first child might be lonely . She wishes to have a girl and a boy so that the boy can continue the family line .

The four who are married , one of them is Mdm Melody , She has been married for four years , has two children and both of them are girls. She does not want to have more children because she is having finacial problems , she thinks that looking after the children is tiring , the cost of education and children's stuff are expensive . Lastly people in Singapore are very busy with their work .
The other one who is married is Ms Jessica and she has been married for eight years , having three children , two are boys and the other one is a girl . She does not plan to have more children in the future because she thinks that three children is enough for her family . She thinks people are not giving birth in Singapore because of the high standards people are living in .

And the other two are Mrs Anna and Ms Christina , both are married for four years. Mrs Anna has 1 child and Ms Christina has 2 children . Mrs Anna would like to have 3 children because she thinks that more children can make the family more lively . Ms Christina would not like to have more children because she thinks having 2 children is already very difficult to look after . Ms Christina thinks that people are getting married late so that cause the low birth rate in Singapore . Mrs Anna thinks that the jobs in Singapore are too stressful so that people dont have time to make a family .
